Article Processing Charge
An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only to manuscripts formally accepted for publication. No submission fee is charged.

- Submission Fee: No submission fee is charged.
- The APC is a one-time charge per accepted article.
- APC payment is requested only after formal acceptance.
- APC payment does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision and does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
2. What Does the APC Cover?
The APC supports the publication and online dissemination of accepted articles, including:
- Editorial and publication administration
- Peer-review coordination
- Manuscript production and formatting
- DOI registration, where applicable
- Online publication
- Open-access hosting and distribution
3. Payment
Payment instructions will be provided by the IJMS Editorial Office after acceptance.
For authors in India: UPI or another designated payment method may be provided.
For international authors: PayPal or another designated payment method may be provided.
Authors should retain their payment confirmation or transaction reference for their records.
Authors should not make payments to personal accounts or unofficial payment addresses.
4. Optional Services
Fast-Track Processing
Where available, authors may request optional Fast-Track Processing:
- India: ₹500
- International: USD 10
Fast-Track Processing does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or a favorable editorial decision, and it does not bypass peer review.
Plagiarism & AI Detection Report
An optional official report may be requested:
- India: ₹300
- International: USD 10
These reports are separate from the journal's internal editorial and originality checks. AI-detection results are considered informational and are not, by themselves, conclusive evidence of misconduct.

Charges for optional services already provided may be non-refundable.
Refunds may not be available where withdrawal is associated with plagiarism, research or publication misconduct, fraudulent information, duplicate submission, or other serious violations of journal policy.
6. Manuscript Withdrawal
Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript should submit a written request to the official IJMS Editorial Office using the email address associated with the submission.
The request should include:
- Manuscript ID
- Article title
- Author names
- Corresponding author's details
- Reason for withdrawal
For manuscripts with multiple authors, the corresponding author should confirm that the other authors have been informed and agree with the withdrawal request.
A withdrawal is considered effective only after formal confirmation from IJMS.
7. Editorial Independence & Transparency
IJMS maintains a clear separation between editorial decisions and publication charges.
Payment of an APC does not guarantee:
- Acceptance or publication
- Indexing in any specific database
- Citation or academic impact
Applicable publication charges will be communicated to authors before payment. IJMS does not intentionally impose undisclosed publication charges after payment.
