Digital Preservation and Archiving
Digital Preservation and Archiving
The International Journal of Multi Studies (IJMS) is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.
Digital Preservation
IJMS takes appropriate measures to preserve published articles, the Version of Record, DOI information, and associated publication metadata. Published content is maintained on the official IJMS website and backed up to support continued access and preservation.
PKP Preservation Network
IJMS participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free, LOCKSS-based digital preservation service for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Published articles are automatically deposited into the network, helping to maintain the integrity and accessibility of the published scholarly record even if the journal's own website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable.
Preservation of the Published Record
IJMS preserves the published Version of Record and associated metadata. Where an article is corrected or retracted, the original publication record is maintained in accordance with the Corrections and Retractions Policy.
If IJMS Ceases Publication
If IJMS ceases publication, the journal will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to previously published content through its established preservation arrangements, including the PKP Preservation Network, subject to applicable technical and contractual requirements.
In such circumstances, previously published articles would remain accessible through the PKP Preservation Network's own access systems, even though the official IJMS website may no longer be active.
